The Borough of Point Fortin recently celebrated it's twenty fifth

Birthday as the Gem of the Caribbean. The Point Fortin Corporation

spared no effort to make the elegant and enjoyable Celebration which

were held without incident.This year's celebration featured a number of

activities which were heralded as the best effort yet to to the

satisfaction of all those who came from here and abroad. Activities

included the Mayor's Ball, Miss Point Fortin Beauty Pageant, Chutney

Fusion, Dragon Boat Racing,, Military Parade, and Rumshop Lime together

with Calypso and Soca to name a few, and concluded with it's J'ouvert

and Traditonal Mas through the streets of the Borough., followed by the

Beach cool down and thee exodus of our visitors from home and

abroad,who are eagerly looking to next year's festivities.
